May God make him happy with what God occupied him with of crying over his sin, watching his slip and looking at it in his book, and he was astonished that that regret gives him promotion with God, for he did not give him good tidings of acceptance of repentance. In the good and the bad, and in the happy and the miserable, I met in the city of Fez a man who was depressed, as if he was serving in a furnace. Silence about the words of creation, I still treat him with such medicines, and the disease of that slip was removed from him with such treatment. The mistakes of the chiefs are mostly their descending to permissible things and nothing else, and in the rare rule, major sins fall from them. It was said to Abu Yazid Al-Bistami, may God be pleased with him, who disobeys the knower. He said, God s command was a predestination. The sanctities of God are violated, praise be to God, if they are guardians of God Almighty and infallible in this place, so no disobedience comes from them at all, in violation of God s sanctity, such as disobedience to others, for the faith written in the hearts prevents that. In it is what he decreed before it occurred, so he is aware of his affair and clear evidence from his Lord. So it descends upon the servant, and the Forgiver veils its judgment, so it is in the position of one who is cast into the Fire and does not burn like Abraham, peace be upon him, who was in the Fire, and there is no judgment for it in it with the veil that is the obstacle. He is not clear or insightful about what he was destined for. This necessitates modesty, regret and humiliation, and that is not the case. Here are divine secrets that we cannot express.

[ Basat and non-extroversion or worship and servitude ]

And after we have understood their ranks in this respect for you and differentiated for you between the disobedience of the knowers and the disobedience of the common people from the scholars of drawings and their imitators, know that it was narrated from some of them that he said, Sit on the rug, wanting the rug of worship, and beware of extroversion. No, these matters do not require their place of evidence, pride and vanity for the sake of the position of the one who is a slave to him and his rank as he once adored the threshold of the boy and was proud. He was told, What is this vanity that we see in your honor that was not known before that from you? Taking slaves from evidence and that they are in this world as they are in the hereafter except for assignment, so they are at work by the orders of their master until they are finished with it. This world, every one who has evidence in this house has diminished from the knowledge of God to the extent of his evidence and does not reach the level of others who have no evidence at all. Do you not see Abd al-Qadir al-Jili, with his evidence of what death approached and his breath remained in this abode of time, put his cheek on the ground and confess that what he is in now is the truth that a servant should have in this house, and the reason for that is that he was in times of evidence of what The truth was known by him from the events of the universes and God spared his student Abu Al-Saud from that evidence, so he remained in obligatory servitude with breaths until his death. Gharib and our path is in the paths of Abd al-Qadir Gharib, may God be pleased with all of them, and we benefited from them.
