Then he was asked, “What is this arrogance that we see in your toes, something that was not known from you before?” He said, “How can I not arrogant when he has become a master of mine and I have become his slave?” and the slaves did not receive anything from him. Pampering and that they should be in this world as they are in the hereafter, except for the obligation, for they are occupied with the commands of their master until they are done with it. If there is no work left for them, they stand in the position of pampering that slavery requires, and this only occurs in the Hereafter, for the obligation is theirs along with the breaths in the worldly home, so every owner has Being pampered in this world has diminished his knowledge of God in proportion to his pampering, and he does not reach the level of anyone else who has no pampering at all. He has missed many breaths while being pampered, and he has missed what he is obligated to do in it of the obligation that contradicts engaging in pampering.
