The world is not an abode of pampering. You do not see Abdul Qadir al-Jili with his pampering when death approached him and he remained to breathe in this abode for that amount of time. He placed his cheek on the ground and acknowledged that what he is in now is the right that a servant should have in this abode, and the reason for that is that he was in Awaqat was the owner of evidence for what the Truth knew of him of the events of the universes, and God protected Abu Al-Saud from that proof, so he remained in costly servitude with the souls until his death, so it was not said that his condition changed upon his death just as it changed upon his sheikh Abdul Qadir, and he told us about the trustworthy among us. He said, “I heard him say the path of Abdul Qadir.” Al-Qadir in the paths of the saints is strange, and our path is in the paths of Abd al-Qadir Gharib, may God be pleased with all of them and benefit us through them. And God protects us from transgressions, and if they are decreed upon us, then I ask God to make us perceptive in committing them so that by them we may rise in degrees.
