And remote places from people, if the beasts forget him and become familiar with him and God pronounces them in his right, whether he spoke or did not speak to him, then let him withdraw from the beasts and animals and desire God Almighty that he does not occupy him with anyone else and persevere in the hidden remembrance, even if he is from the memorizer of the Qur an, so he has a party of him every night that he performs in His prayer so that he does not forget him and does not increase his prayers or movements, and that he always returns his work to his heart.

[ silence ]

As for silence, it is that he does not speak with a creature of the beasts and insects that compelled him in his travels or in the place of his isolation. He was not obligated to remain silent about them and occupy himself with himself, for if they saw him in this state, they would avoid him and not be exposed to him and be hidden from him, for they knew that he who preoccupies himself with God than his preoccupation with him, God will punish him with the most severe punishment. From God in what is cut off to him, then it is a waste of time in what is not attained, for it is a wish. He has manifested his Lord

[ hunger ]

As for hunger, it is reducing food, so he does not eat from it except as much as he establishes his core to worship his Lord in his obligatory prayer. A cause for curiosity, for if the stomach is full, the limbs become overwhelmed, and they act in curiosity by moving, looking, hearing, and speaking.

[ the night ]

As for staying up late, hunger generates it due to lack of moisture and fumes that bring sleep, especially drinking water, for it is all sleep and its lust is false. The state of staying up late, and that if he adheres to that, the vigil goes to the eye of the heart, and the eye of insight is cleared by the adherence to the remembrance, so he sees of good what God Almighty wills and in the occurrence of these four, which are the basis of knowledge for the people of God, and Al-Harith bin Asad Al-Muhasabi took care of them more than others, and they are knowledge of God, self-knowledge and knowledge of the world. And knowing Satan, and some of them mentioned the knowledge of desires instead of knowing God, and they sang about that

I have been afflicted by four who are throwing me *** with arrows from a bow that has stringing

Satan, the world, my soul, and desires *** O Lord, you are powerful over salvation

The other said

Satan and the world and myself and passion *** How is salvation and all of them are my enemies

[ Internal works in the way of God ]

As for the inner five, the righteous woman, Maryam bint Muhammad bin Abdoun bin Abd al-Rahman al-Baja i, told me she said, I saw in my dream a person who used to take care of me in my affairs, and I have never seen a person with him in the realm of the senses. He said to me about five, which are trust, certainty, patience, determination, and honesty. So she presented her visions to me, and I said to her: This is the doctrine of the people, and the discussion will come about them, God Almighty, within the book, for they have chapters that pertain to them, and the four that we mentioned also have chapters that pertain to them in the second chapter of this book, and God says the truth, and it is He. He guides the way, the twenty-sixth part is over

So search for it, for God will make it *** for those who do it are falsehood and atheism
