Whoever says that it is obligatory on him, and whoever says that it is not obligatory for him to be set free, and firstly, I say that if his master prevented him with the ability to leave him, that is why the master with us was among those who block the path of God

Ahmad ibn Hanbal, when he was imprisoned during the days of trial, if he heard the call to Friday prayer, performed ablution and went out to the prison door.

[ Who has been enslaved by the universe ]

Know that whoever is enslaved by the universe is not free. Either I enslave him by a lawful ruling, such as striving for the rights of others and striving to thank the one whom the creatures bestowed upon him a blessing with which he enslaved him. This is a slave who is not obligated to the truth, for he is in the performance of a legitimate duty that is required by that time, and he is with God a servant to other than God for God commanded to perform God s right, even if he was enslaved by a psychological purpose and the whim of my being. He was obligated and was disobedient because he knew that God had addressed him for Hajj at all

And if his appearance at that time was that he was a manifestation of the Hajj apparent in him and not in his own eyes, he did not necessitate the Hajj on him, and this is the faithful servant of God and this is worship in which there is no manumission. When he reaches adulthood, that Hajj is written to him on behalf of his obligation, because he departed by death from the slavery of others, so he was freed by death.

[ The Divine Names and Their Judgment in the world ]

The divine names are of two types in the ruling in the world of the names of those whose judgment goes as long as God wills and if it is attributed from its beginning to its end, I say with expansion and relaxation like the duty expanded in time. At his time, and I performed a duty, so accompanying the rule of the divine name on the convict is extensive, like knowledge in accompanying information and will, and so on. A real judgment and among the names is the one whose judgment does not go too far like the one who creates, then he is in the same position as the one who is immediately. [ Considering knowledge of God through witnesses ]

The soul wants to make a pilgrimage to God, which is looking into the knowledge of God through witnesses. So does the seeker enter into that himself, or does he not enter into that except with a guide, and the guide is one of two people, either he has abundant intellect and he is in the same position as the husband to the woman, or he knows the law while he is the one with a mahram? Attracted or not. If he is attracted, then divine providence accompanies him, so he does not need a guide of his kind, and he is rare. It is necessary for the Shari a to take his hand in that. With the first knowledge, the Shari a is established for him, and with the second knowledge, the truth is established in his view, removing half of it from the rulings of the first rational knowledge and establishing half of it for him. So the intellect is with the Shari a in this issue.
