If the people agreed when he deceived them *** and kept away from falsehood, they would expel him

The perfect gnostic knows him in every form in which he manifests and in every form in which he descends, and the non-knowledge does not know him except in the form of his belief and denies it if it manifests itself to him in another, just as he still binds himself to his belief in him and denies the belief of others. Is it to him in himself and he is the one with whom the divine news occurred and transmitted to him by the rational evidence that the thinking power gave him. Beliefs are not the same as what is required.
