[ Prophet and Messenger ]

Know, may God help you, that the Prophet is the one to whom the angel brings revelation from God. That revelation includes a law that he worships in himself. If he sends it to someone else, he is a messenger, and the angel comes to him in two cases, either it descends on his heart in different circumstances in that revelation, or in a physical form from outside he is cast. What is brought to him by his ear, so he hears, or he casts it on his sight, so he sees, and he gets from looking the same as what he gets from hearing, the same as all other sensitive forces. This is a door that has been closed by the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace.
