Thus, he hopes for stature and love with the Messenger of God, may God s prayers and peace be upon him, for this is how the wise person should be cautious of himself, come the best and the best, and know the virtue of his family. The precaution is if you come out of the dispute by avoiding it and avoid gambling with everything at all, and everything that you neglect to play with, to perform an obligatory duty of God upon you, or from the remembrance of God, then avoid it. Playing chess is lawful, for the photographer is guilty of the sin of the photographers. Our Sheikh Ahmed bin Masoud bin Sadad Al-Maqri Al-Musili told me in the city of Mosul in the year six hundred and one. He said: I saw the Messenger of God, may God s prayers and peace be upon him, and I said to him, O Messenger of God, what do you say about chess, meaning in playing with it? He said, may God s prayers and peace be upon him, that it is permissible. The seer was a Hanafi madhhab. He said, The dice are forbidden. He said, I said, O Messenger of God, what do you say about singing? He said, It is permissible. I said: The Shabab. He said, It is forbidden. He said, I said, O Messenger of God, pray to God for me, for I have had a need, or as he said of this. Meaning, he said, may God s prayers and peace be upon him, may God grant you a thousand dinars, every dinar is from four dirhams. The Prophet, may God s prayers and peace be upon him, said, Then I thought from that hour that chess was permissible, which I believed to be prohibited and the prohibition of youth, and I believed the opposite in these two things. The path of salvation and attainment of happiness, and we do not slander except for that, and beware that you sleep with fat in your hand or on the back of your mouth because of vermin and demons. A dog unless you are in a matter in which you seek guarding or hunting, and do not force a Muslim, a dhimmi, or a covenant, and if you hit a male or female slave, he hurts him or slaps him in the face, so set him free. Your kings or your slaves commit adultery without knowledge, for God will set the punishment on you in that on the Day of Resurrection, and beware of following the hunt and persisting in it and sticking to the desert, for hunting leads to negligence, and dwelling in the desert begets estrangement, and you and the companionship of kings, unless you hear the word with them, so that it benefits a Muslim, or repels the oppressed, or repels the sultan. For doing something that leads to misery with God, and you have to fulfill the vow if you vow obedience, if you vow to disobey God, do not disobey God. It is a matter in which we must comply with their command, except that which is permissible, not the command of disobedience. If they rape you, accept their usurpation in some of your cases, and if they command you to usurp, then do not force us, do not leave the group, do not take a hand from obedience, so you will die a death of ignorance according to the text of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, and do not revolt against the nation, and do not dispute the matter with its people. With the fairer of the two, fulfill the covenant with his covenant, and the one who has the right to his right, and do not carry weapons in the sanctuary to fight. It is dissolved, and if you bleed, then draw a string and drink sucking and do not breathe into the bowl. The sitting of someone if he rises from it with the intention of returning to it, unless he leaves it and does not want to return to it, and he was the son of

Umar, may God be pleased with him, if someone rises to him from his place to make him sit in it, he refrains from him and does not sit, for the one who stands has more right to him according to the text of the Messenger of God, may God s prayers and peace be upon him, and do not return good if it is offered to you, nor milk or a pillow, if something of all of this is presented to you. Make it up and it is imperative, for God will make it up for you if you intend
