Historical study
Ibn ‘Arabî — Time and Cosmology, published by Routledge in 2008, studies time, creation, the week, unity and multiplicity before presenting the Single Monad interpretation and its physical implications. The book record distinguishes the original edition from the 2011 paperback reissue, an important bibliographical detail.
Single Monad and Duality of Time
Mohamed Haj Yousef develops the programme through The Single Monad Model of the Cosmos, Duality of Time, Ultimate Symmetry and Time Chest. Smonad.com describes inner generation and outward succession, six nested inner stages and a seventh role of completion and observation. This is the researcher’s modern formulation, not a literal translation of every statement by Ibn al-ʿArabī.
Making the connection responsibly
Read the historical text, then its interpretation, then the assumptions of the mathematical or physical construction. Conceptual resemblance alone does not establish an experimental law; criticism of a physical model does not settle a text’s historical value. These distinctions support productive dialogue.
