Ibn Abi Talib, may God be pleased with him, says that the revelation stopped after the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, and what remains in our hands is that God will provide a servant with understanding of this Qur’an. Our companions, the people of revelation, have unanimously agreed on the authenticity of the report . On the authority of the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, that he said in a verse in the Qur’an that there is no verse without it having an apparent and an inner, a united and rising And for each of these ranks there are men, and for each of these groups there is a pole, and on that pole it revolves, so you have that. Revelation: I entered upon our sheikh, Abu Muhammad Abdullah al-Shakaz, from the people of Bagha in Grenada in the year five hundred and ninety-five, and he is one of the greatest people I have ever met in this matter.
