He knew how much it was, and I did not see anyone among its people who was well known to the people, and most of them were from Andalusia. I met one of them in the Holy House and in Mecca, and one day I asked him about a question. He said to me, “Do you smell something?” and I learned that he was from the people of that place. He served me for a while, and I had an uncle, my father’s sister’s brother, whose name was Abdullah bin Muhammad ibn al-Arabi had a sense and meaning in this position. We saw that from him before we returned to this path in the time of my ignorance . And God speaks the truth and He guides the path . And the secrets of the magnates who specialize in four types of knowledge, and the secret of the home and the mansions, and whoever enters it from the world. Matters have a limit and a beginning *** from this afternoon And a belly in which you are gathered In the one eye there is a secret that no one knows *** except the ranks of numbers in which it occurs He is the one who most prominent of all the numbers *** And He is the one who has no room for enumeration His scope is narrow Welcome, so his image *** is like one looking into a mirror when he is impressed. So if it is abundant, if it gives its ranks *** it is abundant, then it is with integrity that it is abstained. Thus is the truth, if it fulfills its form *** by itself and by how much it is exalted and humbled
