[ Al-Khidr in the author's life ]

Know, O dear friend, may God support you, that this peg is Khidr, the companion of Moses, peace be upon him. May God prolong his life until now. We have seen someone who saw him and we agreed on a strange matter regarding him. This is because our Sheikh Abu Abbas al-Araibi, may God have mercy on him. A matter arose between me and him regarding a person whose appearance had been heralded by the Messenger. God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said to me: He is so-and-so, the son of so-and-so, and he named for me a person I know by name, and I did not see him, but I saw his cousin. So perhaps I stopped at him and did not accept it. I mean what he said about him, because I had insight into his matter, and there is no doubt that the sheikh returned his arrow to him, and he was hurt inside, and I did not feel that. I was at the beginning of my situation, so I turned away from him to my house. I was on the road and a person I did not know met me. He initially greeted me with a loving, compassionate greeting and said to me, “O Muhammad, Sheikh Abu Al-Abbas told the truth in what he told you about so-and-so, and he named for us the person that Abu Al-Abbas Al-Uraibi mentioned, so I said to him, ‘Yes,’ and I learned what he wanted, and I returned from I turned to the sheikh to inform him of what had happened. When I entered upon him, he said to me, “O Abu Abdullah, I need you with me. If I mention to you an issue that you are unable to accept, Al-Khidr approaches you and says to you that so-and-so has told the truth in what he mentioned to you, and where does this agree with you on every issue that you hear from me?” so you stop, so I said: The door to repentance is open
