He said, “And the acceptance of repentance is a reality.” I knew that that man was Al-Khidr, and there is no doubt that I asked the Sheikh about him. He said, “Yes, he is Al-Khidr.” Then it happened to me again that I was in the Tunis marina, in the hole, in a boat at sea, and a pain seized me in my stomach, and the people of the boat had fallen asleep, so I stood beside the ship and looked at The sea, and I saw a person in the distance in the moonlight, and it was the night of the full moon, and he came on the face of the water until he reached me, and he stood with me, and raised one foot and relied on the other, and I saw the sole of it, and it was not wet. Then he leaned on it, and raised the other, and it was like that. Then he spoke to me with words that he had, then he greeted and went away looking for the lighthouse. He was standing guard on the seashore on a hill between us and him, a distance of more than two miles. He covered that distance in two or three steps, and I heard his voice while he was on the deck of the lighthouse, praising God Almighty. Perhaps he walked to our Sheikh Jarrah bin Khamis Al-Kattani. He was one of the leaders of the people stationed at the Eidoun marina, and I had come from him yesterday night. Then, when I came to Medina, I met a righteous man, and he said to me, “How was your last night on the boat with Al-Khidr?” What he told you and what I told him. Then, when it was later than that date, I went out for tourism on the coast of the surrounding sea, and with me was a man who denies breaches.
