For the attributes and the yā’, the causation of the verbs is the alīf for the spirit and the mind, its attribute is the fatha, and the waw is the soul, the qabḍ is its attribute, which is the dhamma, and the yā’ is the body, and the presence of the verb is its attribute, which is the reduction. If what comes before the waw and yā’ is opened, this is due to the state of the addressee, and since they are different, the attributes must differ on them, and since the alif does not accept vowels, it is united with its meaning. There was no disagreement over them at all, and they were called vowels for what we mentioned. The letter “alif” is the reason for the existence of the adjective, the “waw” of the adjective is the reason for the existence of the verb, and the “ya” of the verb is the reason for the existence of what comes from it in the world of testimony of movement and rest. That is why they were called “unlaws.” Then he created the “nun” from this name, half a circle in shape and the other half.
