It must comply with the command, as the Alif, which is the ancient subject, must appear. [ The Alif appears ] When it appeared, the power was activated. In the meem is the glorification, so he swam as he was commanded and it was said to him that he is the highest, because he is with the ba at the bottom and in this position in the middle, and the one who is glorifying does not glorify the likes of him nor anyone who is below him, so the glorified one must be higher. If we were to interpret Surah “Glory be to the name of your Lord, the Most High,” we would reveal its secrets, so he will remain in this position until He exalts himself, for whoever exalts him is exalted, he is exalted from his exaltation, so this exaltation must return [Page 103 of the Cairo Edition] to exaltation and be the highest, for the truth as a matter of fact is not valid for the highest, for it is one of the nouns of addition and a kind of proper object, so it is neither the highest nor the highest. The lowest and the middle are far removed from that, and He is exalted greatly above Him. Rather, the ratio of the highest, the middle, and the lowest to Him is one relation. So if He transcends, He departs from the limit of the command and pierces the veil of hearing, and attains the highest position. Then the Meem is elevated by viewing the Old One, and complete praise is attained for Him by blessed be the name of your Lord, the Possessor of Majesty and Honour. So the Name is the same as the Named, so is the servant the same. The one who humbles himself to God will be exalted by God, and in the authentic hadiths, the servant’s hand, foot, tongue, hearing, and sight are right .
