(Chapter on washing the feet) [purifying the feet by washing, wiping, or choosing] Know that its image in the timing of washing in numbers is the image of the head, and we have mentioned that. The scholars agreed that the two men are among the parts of ablution, but they differed regarding the form of its purity. Is that by washing, wiping, or by choosing between them? Whatever one of them did, the other was waived, and the duty was performed if they did not have slippers on them. Our view is that the choice and plural is better, and there is no saying except that one says it, so wiping is apparent.
