So if he said it for what he said, then it means proving his message. Since this specific word included testimony to the message, for this reason, he did not say, “Say Muhammad is the Messenger of God.” He said something other than saying, which is faith, and faith is one of the meanings that is what is perceived by the senses, so he coupled faith in God with faith in Him and in what He brought, meaning from Him, from what He has. He legislates it without quoting from God.

He said in the hadith of Ibn Umar, when he mentioned faith in God, prayer, zakat, Hajj, and fasting, and all of this came from God. He said in the hadith of Ibn Umar, “I was commanded to fight the people until they bear witness that there is no god but God and believe in me and what I have brought.”

For the sake of the imitating hypocrite, he says it without faith in his heart or belief, and the ungrateful hypocrite says it no, because he says it, even though he knows that he is the Messenger of God from his book, not from his rational evidence.
