His saying, peace and blessings of God be upon him, “Leave what doubts you for what does not doubt you”

And some of them said, “I have not seen that it is easier for me than piety.” Everything that moved me about something I abandoned it until God gave them signs by which they would know what is permissible from what is forbidden in restaurants and other things, until they rose above the signs. To the violation of their customs regarding the thing in which one is hesitant, they use it, and those who do not know about it think that he has committed a forbidden act, but it is not so, so that distress and embarrassment has expanded upon them, and we have tasted this from our souls, and what they used to find in their souls of searching and searching for that, and this is the sign and this is the state to which they have risen, has disappeared from them. To it it will never be except from the soul of the Most Merciful. The Most Merciful had mercy on them because of the weariness, distress, and embarrassment that He saw in them of fatigue, distress, and embarrassment, and people’s accusations about their gains, and what this action leads them to of having bad thoughts about the servants of God. So the Most Merciful took his breath on them because of what he gave them signs in everything and in the right of a people to the position that they have risen to. To Him is what we mentioned, so they eat good things and use good things, so good things are for good things, and good things are for good things, and they rest.
