To God, it is not necessary for God to be from the world, so is the One, even if the number arises from it, then it is not from the number. Unity for the One is a psychological attribute that does not accept the number, even if it is added to it. If knowledge is a relative, then the application of the few and the many to it is a true application, and if it is other than that, then the application of the few and the many to it is an absolute. Metaphoric and the speech of the Arabs is based on the truth and the metaphor among the people, and if we differed from them on this issue by looking at the Qur’an, then we deny that there is metaphor in the Qur’an, but rather in the speech of the Arabs, and this is not the place to explain this issue

[ Gifted knowledge and earned knowledge ]

Gifted knowledge, not earned knowledge, for it If God had meant acquired knowledge, He would not have said, “You have been given.” Rather, He would have said, “You have been given the path to attaining it,” not Him. He would have said about Khidr, “And We taught him the path of acquiring knowledge.” He would not have said any of this. We know that then there is knowledge that we acquired from our thoughts and from our senses, and then there is knowledge that we did not acquire with anything of our own. It is a gift from God Almighty that He sent down into our hearts and on our secrets, and we found it without apparent reason. It is a delicate matter, as most people imagine that the knowledge that is acquired through piety is knowledge that is bestowed, but it is not so. Rather, they are knowledge acquired through piety, for piety has been made by God a path to the acquisition of this knowledge, so He said.
