The certainty of Jesus, peace be upon him, for we are with the messengers in violating the customs assigned to them by God, and similar ones have appeared upon us by virtue of subordination, as we represented in the Book of Certainty for Us, that the Mamluks of the elite who hold the shoes of their teachers are princes if they enter the Sultan and some of the princes remain outside the door when they are not given permission to enter. You see that the Mamluks entering with their teachers are of higher status than the princes who were not given permission. Did they enter except by virtue of subordination to their teachers? Rather, each person is according to his rank. The princes are distinguished from the princes and the Mamluks are distinguished from the Mamluks [Page 226 of the Cairo edition] in their gender. Likewise, we are with the prophets in what the followers have in terms of Breaking the customs, then the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, did not walk in the air except being carried on the Buraq like a rider and on the flap like one who is carried in a palanquin, so the Buraq and the flap showed the image of the position that he was in in himself because he was carried in himself and also a divine relation from the words of God Almighty, “The Most Merciful is above the Throne” and from His saying. And He carries the throne of your Lord, for the Throne is portable, for this is a burden of honor for the bearers, and a state of comfort, glory, and glory for the bearers. We have stated for you in more than one place that the carried is higher than the unmovable in this position and others like it, and that there is no power nor strength except in God, which is what is specific to the bearers.
