To his face when he is dead, he says it is alive, and if he looks at the feeling of his veins, he says it is dead, and the person looking at it is confused, for God combined life and death for him in the state of his life and death. I saw this for my father, may God have mercy on him. We almost did not bury him except with doubt about what he had on his face regarding the appearance of the living. And from what was the quiescence of his veins and his soul being cut off from the image of the dead, and fifteen days before he died, he informed me of his death and that he would die on a Wednesday, and that was the case. Then it was the day of his death, and he was very ill. He sat down, sitting without supporting, and said to me, “My son, today is the departure and the meeting.” So I said to him, “May God grant you your safety.” On this journey of yours, and I bless you for meeting you, he rejoiced at that and said to me, “May God reward you, my son, on my behalf. Everything I used to hear you say, and I did not know it, and perhaps I was denying some of it, here I am witnessing it.” Then a white sparkle appeared on his forehead that matched the color of his body without any harm, and it had a shimmering light that was chilling with it. Then that light spread on his face until it spread throughout his body, so I kissed him and said goodbye to him and left him and said to him, “I am walking to the Grand Mosque until your funeral comes to me.” He said to me, “Go and do not let anyone enter me.” He gathered his family and daughters, and when he came,
