It is one of the characteristics of supplications, and God is Great, for it is one of the characteristics of comparison, so it means “There is no power nor strength except with God,” for it is one of the characteristics of deeds in deed and word, outwardly and inwardly, because by deeds they are commanded, and travel is deed of heart, body, meaning, and sense, and that is specific to “There is no power nor power except in God,” for with it they say “There is no god but God.” And with it we say , Glory be to God, and other words and deeds .
And since stillness is non-movement and non-existence is their origin, because it is His saying, “And I created you before, and you were not a thing that wanted to exist,” so they chose stillness over movement, which is abiding on the origin, so God Almighty pointed out in His saying, “And to Him belongs that which rests in the night and the day,” that creation surrendered non-existence to Him and prayed for Him in existence. Chapter on Facts: In this verse, the Truth has stripped His creation of adding what they claimed for themselves by saying, “And to Him belongs what rests in the night and the day,” meaning what is proven, and affirmation is an existential matter, rational, not concrete, but rather relative, and He is the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing. He hears [Page 203 of the Cairo edition] your claim in the attribution of what is His. You attributed him to you, knowing that the matter is contrary to what you claimed.
