Concerning their saying, “No one knows God except God.” Rather, our companions differed regarding seeing God Almighty when we see Him in the Hereafter with sight. What do we see? And their words about it are known to our companions. We have mentioned the investigation of that in this book, separated in the chapters of His stations and other things, by means of gesture, not by statement, for it is a narrow scope. Minds stop in it to contradict it with their evidence, for He is the One who is seen, Glory be to Him, in the way that the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said it and what he wanted from it. Those who looked at what he said and what was revealed to us differed in its interpretation, and some aspects are not better than others, so we left delving into that since the disagreement in it does not rise from the point of view. The world is based on our words and not by what we mention in it . « Chapter » [On the ranks of the pegs and their homes] As for the hadith about the pegs, which relates to their knowledge of this chapter, know that the pegs The ones with whom God protects the world are four, not a fifth, and they are more specific than al-Abdāl, and the two imāms are more specific than them, and the Qutb is the most specific of the group, and al-Abdāl in this way is a common term.
