And if these people have a face, this is beautiful. [ Physical and spiritual movements ] As for us and those who follow our path and rise to our lofty path, our purpose is another matter, not that. Saying one of them absolutely, except with proportions and additions, and looking at aspects that are too long to mention and are not urgently needed in this book, since we have mentioned them in other of our compositions. Let us explain that movements are of two types: physical movement and spiritual movement, and physical movement has many types that will be mentioned within the book, as well as spirituality, and we do not need any of them. In this book, except for the movements of speech verbally and in writing, the digital movements are like bodies and the verbal movements are like souls, and the vowels are of two types: mutatis and mutalun. So the mutilated is every mover that is moved by all or some of the movements, so the moveable with all of them is like the dāl from Zayd, and the moveable with some of them is like nouns that are not inflected if they are not inflected, for they may be inflected in the indefinite. And the addition is like the dāl from Ahmad and the mutakīn is every vowel that is fixed on one movement and is not moved from it, such as built-up nouns such as these and Huḍām, and the letters of the inflected nouns that are before the inflected letter, such as the zaī and the yā’ of Zaid and the like. Know that the vowels of the vowels are the vowels .
