The word to which it was commanded to be returned in Surah Al-Fajr before God Almighty secured it for its supplication, so He revealed the Alif of Al-Am Aqib, nor of the lost ones, and concealed Amen, because there was absent from the world of the kingdom someone whose assurance coincided with the assurance of the angels in the realized unseen, which the majority of jurists call sincerity, the Sufis call it presence, and the investigators call it determination. We and others like us call it Al-Iyā’ah, and when the alif was united in the world of the kingdom and the testimony appeared, the difference occurred between the ancient and the new. So look at what we have written and you will be surprised. What supports what we have mentioned about the presence of the adjective is the mudd found in the lam and the meem without the alif. If a Sufi said, “We found the alif written and the hamza pronounced without the alif, then why is it not pronounced?” By the alif, we say, and this is also something that supports what we said, because the alif does not accept movement, for the letter is unknown unless it is moved. If it is moved, it is distinguished by the movement that relates to it, such as raising, accusative, and lowering. And the essence is never known as to what it is, so the alif that signifies it, which is in the world of letters, is a successor like a human in the world. Also unknown, like the entity, does not accept movement, and since it does not accept it, all that remains is to know it from the point of view that descriptions are taken away from it, and since it is not possible to pronounce a static .
