The Most High descended into my being from His lofty abodes, riding on a horse standing on three legs. He lowered his head towards me, and the lights and darkness spread out. He breathed into my mind all beings, so he parted my earth and my heavens and revealed to me all my names. So I recognized myself and others, distinguished between my evil and my good, and separated what was between my Creator and my truths. Then he departed. That king said to me and said, “You know that you are the presence of the king,” so I prepared for the descent and for the arrival of the messenger. So the kingdoms traded for me, and the spheres revolved around me, and everyone was coming to my right and in my presence, and I did not see a king who descended, nor a king who stopped standing before me. He moved, and I noticed in some of my sides, and I saw the image of eternity, and I knew that the descent was impossible, so I remained in that state. And I informed some of the elite of what I witnessed and informed them of me of what I found. I am the lush garden and the fruitful one. So lift up my curtain and read what is contained in my lines. Whatever you have agreed upon from me, put it in your book and address all of your loved ones with it. So I lifted up my curtain and observed its writing, and its light deposited in it revealed to my eyes the hidden knowledge it contains and contains. So the first line I read. The first secret from that line that I learned is what I am mentioning now in this second chapter, and God Almighty guides to knowledge and to a straight path .
