It is discharged on the basis of health [ Considering istihaadah blood ] As for the person with suspicion, no, he is lying.[ Page 368 of the Cairo edition] And he knows that he is lying, and the one who is suspicious says that he is telling the truth while he is lying about the same matter. As for considering the blood of istihaadah, which is lying as a reason, it does not prevent him from praying or having intercourse, and this indicates that it is not a harm, for menstruation is a harm, so a man is harmed by intercourse with blood. Menstruation is not harmed by it in the case of istihaadah blood, even if it is due to illness, then this lie, even if it indicates falsehood, which is nothingness, has a rank in existence, which is uttering it, and what is meant by it is to ward off harm from what should be warded off by that lie, or to bring about a legitimate benefit, which should appear like this in it. And because of it, it would be a closeness to God, even if it was true in this place, it would be a distance from God. Don’t you see that the woman with menstruation is not prevented from praying even though her blood is flowing? [ Considering blood Postpartum ] As for postpartum blood, it is the same as menstrual blood. If it exceeds the amount of time of menstruation or deviates from that characteristic of menstrual blood, it falls outside the ruling on menstruation. Taking care of postpartum blood is more important than taking care of menstrual blood without postpartum, for God does not withhold it. In the womb, then He sent it to ease the path of the child’s emergence, out of kindness to its mother, thus making it easier
