(Chapter on the ruling on blood) [The three bloods specific to women] Know that there are three types of blood: menstrual blood, istihaadah blood, and postpartum blood, and all of these are specific to women. There is no ruling for the man in it, so the consideration in this matter should be for the soul, for it is mostly feminine, for God said about it the blaming and reassuring soul, so He made it female, and the heart has no share in this blood, nor does the soul have any chance. [ Lying is the menstruation of the soul ] So we say that the people of the path from among the predecessors and a group of others who participated with the people of God in exercises and struggles among the wise have unanimously agreed that lying is the menstruation of the soul, so let the truth be based on this, the purification of the soul from this menstruation. [ Considering menstrual blood ] Menstrual blood is what comes out in a healthy way, and istihaadah blood is what comes out in a sick way. It came out due to a reason, and for this reason, it is ruled that the menstruation of the soul is a lie, and it is, as we said, blood that comes out in a healthy way, so it is a lie about God, which God Almighty says about it. May God bless him and grant him peace. Whoever lies about me intentionally, let him take his seat in Hell. So he said it intentionally
