And He did not forbid those carrying the Qur’an from traveling to enemy land, even if the Qur’an was preserved in their hearts like what is in the Qur’an, and that is because it was in their stomachs. Do you not see that the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, was not prevented by anything from reciting the Qur’an? It is not impurity for the appearance of the Qur’an when reciting with the letters that He uttered what the Truth told us were His words, the Almighty. Then he said to his Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, “Reward him until he hears the words of God.” So the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, recited it to him.

[ The one who is junub should not touch the Qur’an or read it]

So the one who is junub and is stranger to what is due to the truth should not happen, because distance from truths and boundaries never brings nearness, and distance may bring its owner closer to its owner who wants to be close to him. Just as the Lord is not a servant, neither is He. The servant is a master because for himself he is a servant, just as the Lord [Page 367 of the Cairo Edition] for himself is a Lord, so the servant is not characterized by any of the attributes of the Truth in the sense in which the Truth is characterized, nor is the Truth characterized by what is true for the servant. The impurity never touches the Qur’an with this consideration or He should read it in this case.

[ The servant should not show anything except pure worship ]

The servant should Nothing appears on him except pure worship, for he is completely aside from himself, so he does not touch the Qur’an. If you appear, then the hand of truth will touch the Qur’an, as he said about himself.
