God will say to him on the Day of Resurrection, “I thought you would meet me”

And God Almighty said, “And that is your assumption; that which you thought about your Lord; He will destroy you.”

[Al-Mu’tan] The third scales.

Then scales are placed to weigh the deeds, and books are placed in them of what they have done, and the last thing placed in the scale is a person’s saying, “Praise be to God,” and for this

May God’s prayers and peace be upon him, he said, “Praise be to God,” fills the scale.

For all the deeds of the servants are thrown into the scale except for the word “There is no god but God,” and what remains of His completion is a praise, and it is made and filled with it. The scale of each person’s scale is equal to his deeds, without addition or subtraction, and every mention and deed enters the scale except “There is no god but God,” as we said, and the reason for that is that every deed is good. It has a counterpart to its opposite, so this good is placed in its balance, and no god but Allah is compared to polytheism, and monotheism and polytheism are not combined in anyone’s balance, because if he said there is no god but God, believing it, then he did not associate it, and if he polytheized, then he did not believe there is no god but God. So since the combination of them was not valid, it was not valid. For the word “There is no god but God” there is someone equivalent to it on the other hand, and nothing outweighs it. For this reason, it does not enter the scale. As for the polytheists, We will not assign to them a weight on the Day of Resurrection, that is, they have no value, nor will their deeds be weighed, nor will anyone like them who deny the meeting with God and disbelieve in His signs, for the good deeds of the polytheist Disappointed, their evil has nothing to counterbalance it
