Their hands, and the fire behind them, and the sun above their heads, and no shadow except the shadow of the Throne, so whoever meets God, Blessed and Most High, bearing witness to his sincerity, acknowledging his Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, innocent of polytheism and magic, and innocent of shedding the blood of Muslims, adhering to God and His Messenger, loving whoever obeys God and His Messenger, hating whoever disobeys God and His Messenger. He took shelter under the shade of the throne of [page 310 of the Cairo edition] of the Most Gracious and was saved from his distress. And whoever deviated from that and fell into any of these sins with a single word, or had a change of heart, or doubted any part of his religion, he would remain for a thousand years in heat, worry, and torment until he was judged. God is in it as He wills
[ The Drive to Light and Darkness ]
Then the creation is led to light and darkness, and they reside in that darkness for a thousand years, so whoever meets God Blessed and Most High did not associate anything with Him, nor did any hypocrisy enter into his heart, nor did he doubt anything regarding the matter of his religion, and he gave the truth from himself and spoke the truth, and was fair to people from himself, and obeyed God in secret and in public, and was satisfied with God’s decree, and was content with what God had given him. He emerged from darkness into The light is as small as the blink of an eye, whitening his face. He has been saved from all of the griefs, and whoever disagrees with any of them remains in grief and worry for a thousand years, then emerges from it, his face blackened, and he is in the will of God. He does with him whatever He wills.
