Whoever runs away from them as he runs away from people, for sitting with them is very bad and rarely produces good because their origin is fire and fire is a lot of movement. And whoever moves a lot, curiosity is quicker to him in everything, so they are more tempted by their companion. Of the people, for they have gathered with the people to uncover the private parts of the people, which a rational person should not be privy to. However, humans do not prefer sitting with a human to be arrogant, and sitting with the jinn is not like that. Of course, they prefer arrogance towards people and every servant of God, and every servant of God sees himself transparently. Other than that, it is arrogance, for God hates it in himself from where he does not realize it. This is hidden deception, and the essence of God’s hatred for him is what he finds of arrogance.
