The Wise [ The scholar is the effect of God's knowledge, not the effect of God's eye ] So look at what I have written *** for it is a secret that is clear. Separating the matter itself *** from everything else with clear evidence In a certain secret *** I am the secret of his help [ Page 263 of the Cairo edition ] So I put on the robe from *** My request appointed his voice (Another issue) [The existential bond between truth and creation] It was such-and-such. The world was divided into miserable and happy because of the divine names, for the divine rank is required. For its own sake, if there is affliction and well-being in the world, and none of that is necessary for it to last unless God wills, for He exists and there is no knower, and He is called by these names. So the matter in this is like a condition and a condition is like a cause and an effect, so the condition is not valid unless the existence of the condition is valid, and it may be. The condition, even if the condition does not occur, then when we saw affliction and well-being, we said that they must have a condition, which is that truth is a god called the one who afflicts, the tormentor, and the bestower. Just as every possible thing is susceptible to one of the two rulings, I mean the two opposites, it is also susceptible to the absence of one of the two opposites, so the entire world is possible, so it is permissible for it to be negated .
