God does not commit adultery except with the truth, and whoever does that will meet with sin, his punishment will be doubled on the Day of Resurrection, and he will abide therein in disgrace, except for those who repent and believe and do righteous deeds, for those will be replaced. May God turn their bad deeds into good deeds, and when Wahshi read this signature, he said, “Who is there for me to be able to do the good deeds that He has stipulated for us in Al-Tabdil [Page 256 of the Cairo edition]

Then another signature came in the answer, in which it was written, “God does not forgive anyone associating partners with Him, but He forgives anything less than that to whomever He wills.” Wahshi said, “I do not know whether I am among those who wished to be forgiven or not,” so he came. In the answer there is a third signature in which it is written: O My servants who have transgressed against themselves, do not despair of God’s mercy. Indeed, God forgives all sins. Indeed, He is the Forgiving, the Merciful. When Wahshi read this signature, he said, “Now I accept Islam”
