Nor by the place, nor by the situation, nor by anything from the world of sense, according to witnesses in which I was absent from myself and from others, and I was told that when the time for prayer came, I would perform the prayer and pray with the people, but my condition was like the movements that occur from a sleeper, and he had no knowledge of it, so I knew that God had preserved my time and had not tampered with my tongue. Sin, as he did to Al-Shibli during his illness, but Al-Shibli used to respond at the times of prayers to what was narrated from him, so I do not know whether he understood his response or was it like what I was in, for the narrator did not elaborate. When Al-Junaid was told about him, he said, “Praise be to God, who did not commit a tongue of sin except that I was in.” Sometimes, during my absence, I see myself in the most general light and the greatest manifestation of the Great Throne, praying with her, while I am naked and unable to move, isolated from myself, and I see her in his hands, kneeling and prostrating, and I know that I am that one who is kneeling and prostrating, like seeing a sleeping person with his hand in my forelock, and I used to marvel at that and know that that is no other than me, nor is he. From there, I learned about the accountable and the assignment, and the accountable is an active participle and an active participle. I have explained to you the condition of those taken from them by the divine lunatics, clearly indicating that you have tasted witnesses of what is happening, and God speaks the truth and it is He who guides the path.
