Then there are other aspirations that rise above the throne to the rank of [Page 240 of the Cairo edition. ] The soul may find the truth there as a transcendent existence, which is its existence for Him, just as its existence for Him is in the world of space and magnitude, so they see a more honorable place, a more sacred abode, and an interiority that is not limited by estimation and cannot be captured by representation. He finds it in the first mind, and among the desires is what he finds in those close to the ruling souls, and among the aspirations is what he finds in blindness, and among the aspirations is what he finds in the earth created from the remnants of the clay of Adam, peace be upon him, and if these aspirations find him in these levels, he gives them according to their thirst from the position that sent them to rise to These levels and they descend with Him to the lowest heaven, and in reality He brings them down to the lowest heaven and descends with them, so they benefit from the knowledge that the Truth bestows on those minds that have never crossed the Throne.
