Then I saw that this was an encouragement to the one who is prepared and seeks more and who is exposed to the scents of generosity through the secrets of existence. If the person who is prepared is required to be alone and to remember, and the place is empty of thought, and he sits poor and has nothing at the door of his Lord, then God Almighty will grant him knowledge of Him and the divine secrets and divine knowledge with which God Almighty praised His servant Khidr, saying, “One of Our servants, whom We have given mercy from Ourselves, and whom We have taught from Ourselves.” Knowledge, and God Almighty said, “And fear God, and God will teach you.” And He said, “If you fear God, He will make for you a criterion.” He said, “And He will give you a light by which you may walk.” Al-Junaid was asked, “What have you achieved?” He said, “By sitting under that step for thirty years.” Abu Yazid said, “You took your knowledge dead from a dead person, and we took our knowledge from a living person who does not die, so it comes to his owner.” Aspiration in solitude with God, through which His gift is so great and His wealth of knowledge so great that every speaker on earth is absent.
