Or believe them, say as you wish. That is why it has been designated as miracles, and has not been called miracles, nor has it been called magic. For a miracle is something that is incapable of creating the like of creation, either purely or it is not among the capabilities of human beings. The power of the soul and the properties of names do not exist, and it appears on their hands. And magic is that in which a face to the truth appears, and it is In the same matter, it is not truly derived from temporal magic [page 236 of the Cairo edition], which is the mixing of light and darkness. It is not night because of the morning light mixed with it, and it is not day because the sun does not rise for sight. Likewise, this so-called magic is something that is definitely false and is nothingness, for the eye has perceived it. Something that you do not doubt, and it is not pure truth, so it has an existence in his eye, for it is not in himself as the eye witnesses it and the seer thinks it is, and the miracles of the saints are not like magic, for they have an existential reality in him and are not a miracle, for he is knowledgeable and has strong resolve. As for the saying of the One who knows your truth about your Lord, you see it as gold. Objects do not turn over, and that is what he saw. This matter was great when he saw him, so he said to him that knowing you is more honorable than what you saw, so describe yourself as knowledgeable, for it is greater than the fact that the cylinder was gold in the same matter, so teach him that objects do not turn over.
