So the sheikh said to him, “Why is this our service? Where was the harmful from you that was beneficial when the trees said to you that they were beneficial and harmful?” He said, “O my master, repentance.” The sheikh said to him, “God has tempted you and tested you. I have only directed you to God and not to anyone else. So whoever is sincere in your repentance, you must return to that place and those trees will not speak to you.” Which I told you if you were sincere in your repentance. So Abu Abdullah Al-Ghazal returned to the place and did not hear anything of what he had heard, so he prostrated to God in thanks and returned to the Sheikh and recognized him. The Sheikh said, Praise be to God, who chose you for Himself and did not push you to a universe like you among His universes. He was honored by Him, and in reality He is honored by you. So look. His determination, may God be pleased with him
