Camels are only used by Arabs, and Arabs are masters of eloquence, enthusiasm, and generosity, and while these qualities are prevalent in this group, we have called them “riders.” Among them are those who ride the burden of determination, and among them are those who ride the burden of deeds. Therefore, we have made them into first and second classes, and these owners of the horses are the individuals in this way, for they, may God be pleased with them, are divided into classes. The Qutbs, among them are the Imams, among them are the Watads, among them are the Abdals, among them are the Nuqabas, among them are the Nujaba’s, among them are the Rujabis, and among them are individuals. There is not a sect of them except that I have seen them and lived with them in the countries of the Maghreb and the countries of the Hijaz and the East. This chapter is concerned with the individuals, and they are a sect outside the rule of the Qutb alone. The Qutb has no control over them, and they have numbers from three to what Above it there are individuals who have neither theirs nor anyone else’s. Below the first individual, which is the three, precedence. Oneness, which is the one, is for the essence of truth, and the two are for the rank, which is the unification of divinity, and the three are the first existence of the universe from God, so the individuals are among the angels, the angels who dominate in the beauty and majesty of God, who are outside of the angels.
