He felt that he had all the sustenance he had at that time, and an animal of the sea came out and asked for its sustenance. He said to it, “Take from this as much as you can afford each day.” So she ate it until she came to the end of it, and she said, “Give me more,” and I did not fulfill my sustenance, for God gives me the same amount every day, ten times, and other things. The animals are greater than me and have greater sustenance, so Solomon, peace be upon him, repented to his Lord and knew that it was not within the power of the creature to do what the Creator Almighty should. For he asked God for a kingdom that no one after him should have, so he resigned from his request when he saw that and the animals gathered around him asking for their sustenance. From all sides, he was fed up with that, but God did not accept his question and said it. He found unimaginable pleasure in that . ( The House of Symbols ) < p> Know, may God grant you success, that even if it is a revelation, it contains stages, including the home of oneness, the home of the primal mind, the greatest throne, echo, the coming of the scholars to the throne, the knowledge of assimilation, the home of hearts and the veil, the home of the intelligible leveling, the prevailing divinity, the origin of soothsayers, eternity, and homes.
