We say that it is not praise for a servant to be characterized by the characteristics of his master, for that is bad manners. It is permissible for the master to be characterized by the characteristics of his servant out of humility, so it is for the master to descend, because he does not judge him, so his descending to the characteristics of his servant is preferable to him over his servant until he extends it, for the majesty of the master is greater in the heart of the servant than he could point to it if you did not descend it. To Him, and the servant does not have the characteristics of his master, neither in his presence nor in the presence of his fellow slaves, even if he is in charge of them, as

He, peace be upon him , said, “I am the master of the children of Adam, and there is no pride.

And God Almighty said, ‘This is the Hereafter abode We will make’, that is, We will possess it.” It belongs to those who do not desire exaltation in the earth, for the earth has been made humiliated by God, and the servant is humble, and humiliation does not necessitate exaltation. Whoever exceeds his destiny will perish. It is said that no one has perished. He knows his destiny. His saying, “It has no end.” He says that the servant has no end in his servitude that he can reach and then return to usury, just as he does not have the Lord. A limit that ends with Him and then returns as a servant, for the Lord is Lord without end, and the servant is a servant without end. That is why he said that the praises of the people in the rich are, while he is more humble than the face of the earth, and he said, “No one knows the pleasure of water except the thirsty.” He says, “No one knows the pleasure of being associated with servitude except the one who has tasted the pains when he is characterized by lordship and the need of creation.” To him
