If he comes to you from this direction described as power, then he is coming to you to weaken your faith and certainty and cast doubt upon you in your evidence and revelations. For in every revelation that the Truth informs you of, he has something from the world of imagination that he sets for you similar to the state you are in at your time, if you do not have strong knowledge. By what you distinguish between the truth and what you imagine, then you will be of equal standing, otherwise the matter will become confusing for you, just as the magicians imagined to the common people that the ropes and sticks were snakes, but they were not. [ The staff of Moses and the magicians' ropes] [The staff of Moses and the magicians' ropes ] When Moses, peace be upon him, threw his staff and it was a slithering snake, he feared it for himself as usual. Rather, God presented this knowledge to his hands before gathering the magicians so that he would be certain of God that it was a sign and that it would not harm him. His second fear was when it was thrown. The magicians ropes and sticks, so they became alive in the eyes of those present over the nation so that the matter would not confuse them so that they would not differentiate between imagination and reality or between what is from God and what is not from God, so the attachment of the two fears differed, for he, peace be upon him, was clear from his Lord and strong in spirit regarding what was presented to him when it was said to him. In the first meeting, take it and do not be afraid. We will restore its behavior to it.
