Muhammad, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, led to the existence of his body and the connection of the soul with it. The rule of time, in its flow, was transferred to the apparent name, so Muhammad, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, appeared in his essence as a body and a spirit, so the rule for him was initially internal in all the laws that appeared at the hands of the prophets and messengers, may God’s peace be upon them all. Then the ruling became apparent to him, so he abrogated every law highlighted by the hidden name by the ruling of the apparent name to show the difference in the ruling of the two names, even if the legislator was one and he was the author of the law, for he said, “I was a prophet,” and he did not say, “I was a human being,” and I did not exist, and prophecy is only by the law prescribed for him by God, so he reported that he is the author [of Page 144 of the Cairo edition] Prophethood came before the existence of the prophets who are his deputies in this world, as we have stated in the previous chapters of this book [ The Turn of Time ] < p> So his turning was the end of his cycle with the hidden name and the beginning of another cycle with the apparent name. He said he turned around like he was on the day God created him in attributing the rule to us outwardly, just as it was in the first cycle inwardly attributed to us, that is, to Muhammad, and in the outward sense it was attributed to whomever the law of Abraham, Moses, Jesus, and all the prophets and messengers were attributed to him. [ The Sacred Prophets and the Sacred Months ] And among the prophets of time are four Sacred Prophets: Hud, Salih, and Shuaib, may God’s peace be upon them, and Muhammad, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him
