Whatever names are revealed to them, whether they know it or without knowledge, some of them unite God with what is revealed to his heart when he thinks, and he is the owner of the evidence, so he is upon light from his Lord mixed with being for the sake of his thought. What indicates this is the mention of created beings and his consideration of them, and this is the thought. And among them are those who unite God with a light that He found in their heart, and they are unable to repel it without thought, nor forethought, nor consideration, nor reasoning.
