When we uttered the saying “In the Name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful,” it did not appear to the Alif. Lam is an existence, so the connection from the self to the self became, and God and the Most Merciful became names for the self, so he returned to himself by himself, and for this reason he said, peace and blessings of God be upon him, and I seek refuge in You from you. When he reached the self, he did not see anything else, and he said, I seek refuge in you, and there must be someone who seeks refuge from Him, so he revealed it to him, so he said from you and from you, and the evidence for it is I seek refuge. It is not permissible for it to be separate, for it is in the Essence, and it is not permissible to elaborate on it. It is clear from this that the Word of God is the servant. Just as God’s word for the Essence is evidence, so is the all-inclusive servant, so the servant is the Word of Majesty. Some investigators said in the case that I am God, and some Sufis from two different positions also said it, and there is a difference between The position of the meaning and the position of the letter for which it was found, so the Almighty compared the letter to the letter, I seek refuge in Your pleasure from Your displeasure, and compared the meaning with the meaning, and I seek refuge in You from You, and this is the ultimate goal of knowledge.

Perhaps you differentiate between God and the Most Merciful when presented to you in the Qur’an, the Almighty’s saying, “Worship God,” and they did not say, “And what is God?” And when it was said to them, “Prostrate to the Most Merciful,” they said, “What is the Most Merciful.” That is why the adjective was more preferable to the substitution for some people, and for others, the substitution is more appropriate for the Almighty’s saying, “Say, ‘Call upon God.’”
