The manifestation of imagination is gentler than the manifestation of sense in a way that does not come close, and for this reason it is quick to fluctuate from one state to another. Just as man’s interior is here, so will his exterior be in the afterlife. [ A market where images are stored in Paradise ] It has been reported that there is a market in Paradise in which neither one can buy nor sell, but it is a place where images are stored. So whoever desires an image will enter it like what is the interior of man today . [ The knowledge of fear purifies the heart from resemblance and restriction ] So if the worshiper places his object of worship in such a way that he sees it, it is as if he has sent it down from his heart in the same position as one who sees it with his sight without there being an image. From the outside, as it was in the manifestation of a dream, so if this imagination defines it, and the truth has no limits, Glory be to Him, He is bound by it, so He purifies it with the knowledge of fear, which is the stone that we mentioned from restricting boundaries, so the heart is purified only by fear of such likeness and restriction, since there is nothing like it. [ Fluids and solids that remove impurities ] This is considering the agreement of scholars that stones purify those that remove impurities, and they differed except for what we mentioned of agreement regarding fluids and solids that remove impurities. It removes impurities from the places we mentioned. Who would say that every fluid and solid is in any place if it is
