( This has been considered internally ) If we say that the soul is purified by humiliation, which is its origin from the pride that it claimed when it gained it, then the connection is not necessary, because if we transferred humiliation to the place of pride, it would not prevent the occurrence of humiliation in that place, because the one in the place is stronger in repelling it than the one who came to take it away, and if he shared the place, the two opposites would come together and it would not exist. One of them is more deserving of removal than the other [ The soul is devoted to the presence of glory ] But what is correct about this is that the soul is devoted to the presence of glory. To the presence of glory, she was covered with the light of glory, which led her to what she claimed. Then she was told, “Turn your face toward your humiliation and weakness from which you were created. If it remains upon you, ”
