( In the Name of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful ) ( Chapter on touching the Qur’an on one’s side ) Sharia scholars differed regarding touching the Qur’an on one’s side. So some people were of the opinion that touching the Qur’an on one’s side was permissible, but others were forbidden from doing so . The whole world is the words of God in existence. God Almighty said regarding Jesus, peace be upon him, and His word He delivered to Mary. And God Almighty said, “The words of God are not exhausted.” And God Almighty said, “To Him a good word ascends, and a good deed raises it up.” Word is the plural of a word, and God Almighty says to a thing, “If He wills it, be.” Fix that The thing is formation, so it is. Existence in it is a spread parchment, and the world in it is a written book. Rather, it is numbered because it has two faces, one that seeks the high and the divine names, and a side that seeks the lower, which is nature. For this reason we preferred the name “numbered” to the “written” as each side of the “numbered” is inscribed, and in that I say .
