(Chapter on Friday ablution) [Purity for Friday prayer is a present purity, and its day is a temporal purity] Considering purity in eternity for the daily time of the seven days that These are Fridays, for God has decreed a right and obligation for every servant to wash himself every seven days, so he washed Friday for the day, not for prayer, so the purity for Friday prayer was the purity of the situation, and this is the purity of the time. [ Friday washing is for its day or for its prayers ] The scholars differed, so who says that washing is only for Friday prayers, and this is our doctrine? If he performs it before Friday prayers and also intends to wash for Friday prayers, then it is better, and who says that it is For the Friday prayer on Friday, which is the best without disagreement, even if he leaves it before the prayer, he must perform ablution unless the sun sets [ Friday is a Friday day. The slave is upon the truth. ] And when we said that the servant is united upon the truth on this temporal day, the relation of this day [page 362 of the Cairo edition] to the side of the truth is such that eternity of temporal determinations enters into it by determining the directions of the truth to create beings.
